Shame, I only just missed it! I just received a score of 83% out of the required 90% in my application for Masters' Level, the highest level in the USA-based International Society of Scratchboard Artists (ISSA). See the images of my entries above and below.
The judging was carried out by three independent judges who viewed 10 images of works submitted on line. There were 9 applications for Master this year - many congratulations to the two new Masters: Linda Heath Clark and Ann Ranlett!
Having taken the judges feedback on board I am hoping that I will be successful next year. What do you think?
I started my 'journey' with Scraperboard or Scratchboard Art in 1968. Since then I have been working exclusively in this medium.
