Beautiful, isn't he? Unusually for me, this isn't an African animal.
The white tiger or bleached tiger is a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger, native to parts of the Indian Subcontinent. This mutation is so rare that it is estimated that only one in every 10,000 tigers born in the wild is white. Therefore, white tigers are only found in captivity.
